Event description

Using FANGIRLS in the classroom? No idea where to start? Look no further!

In this workshop, Yve Blake (the writer of FANGIRLS) will take you through key moments in the text, and show you different ways to link it to the NSW Stage 6 Drama Curriculum (Contemporary Australian Theatre Practice). Expect to leave this workshop loaded up with insights about the show, a knowledge of its key teachable moments, and heaps of exercises you can take into the classroom.

Yve Blake is a teaching artist with years of experience, who especially enjoys teaching teenagers. Some of the places she’s taught include Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, the Sydney Opera House, and NIDA.

* This workshop is an in-person Workshop in Sydney, at ATYP (The Australian Theatre for Young People). The workshop will take place in the Rebel Theatre at ATYP.

🚨 Can't make it? I've added the option to purchase a recording of the zoom version of this workshop that took place earlier this year (To access for 30 days). Tap 'Get Tickets' and you'll see the option there :) 🚨
