Team Hakim intimate campaign dinner, with special host Con Christopoulos

Jamal Hakim is running for Lord Mayor, and North Melbourne dad and business owner Michael Smith is running on his ticket as a local, resident independent.  

Together, along with the rest of Team Hakim – including Deputy Lord Mayor candidate Esther Anatolitis – they're standing committed to a shared vision for a Melbourne that's welcoming, democratic, and flourishing. 

Team Hakim has refused to take campaign donations from property developers or companies that work in gambling, tobacco and weapons, preserving their ability to represent community without conflicts of interest when making decisions in Council. This means every contribution counts toward getting them elected! 

So, they're hosting a campaign fundraising dinner on Tuesday 8 October, starting at 7:00 pm, at Tea Room to raise funds to get Team Hakim's resident independents over the line and to share more about their policy platform.

This special intimate evening includes a three course meal, a welcome cocktail and flowing wine at Tea Room (next to the Supper Club), a restaurant by none other than Con Christopoulos. Con is one of Melbourne's most renowned restauranteurs and will be personally serving dessert to guests as part of his endorsement for Jamal, Esther and Team Hakim.
