Let's ride mountain bikes at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park on Sunday, May 18th!

Team Snacks Cycling is a club for women / trans / femme cyclists. Austin Ridge Riders is the largest mountain biking club in Austin (and maybe Texas?)

Every Sunday the Ridge Riders ride mountain bikes around Walnut Creek Metropolitan park. On May 18th, Team Snacks is taking a "field trip" of sorts and joining them.

A lot of people typically show up to this ride. Everyone has the opportunity to self-organize by skill level. Team Snacks folks are mostly "Social Intermediate." However, if you're a beginner, you can either join the Ridge Riders beginner group, OR, if you're nervous, Alice has generously volunteered to lead a super-beginner ride with just women / trans / femme people. As a super beginner, you won't need a mountain bike; any bike with knobby tires will do.

What you'll need

Helmet (required!)
Gloves (recommended)
Hydration (a bottle or pack... there are no water stops)
Snacks (for a mid-ride pick-me-up)
Bike (mountain bike if you are riding with Ridge Riders, any bike with knobby tires if you are riding with Alice)
