Join Mishka Mink in her Beginners workshop for slinky floorwork and dance. This is the first taste of what will soon be Mishka Mink's Sultry Slink workshop series. Come and learn the basics of slinky floorwork, with all the foundational movements broken down in incredible detai, along with ways you can flow movements together. This will all be taught in a manner that will teach a short routine at the same time. Suitable for even the most absolute beginner, anyone is welcome to come and explore the art of sultry slinky movement in a supportive safe space. Mishka Mink, also known as Freyja at Kittens Pole Dance Studio, has been a pole & dance instructor for the past 3 years. Mishka's strengths as an instructor include her keen eye for detail, adaptive teaching style to suit her students, and ability to create variations on the fly to suit any ability. What to bring: - Anything that you feel comfortable in! (I recommend leggings for ease of movement while learning floorwork, and heels suitable for commercial dance or salsa. You are of course welcome to forgo heels, but I highly recommend wearing socks at minimum.) - Kneepads are highly encouraged. Other Info: - Suitable for ages 18 and up - Participants should be able to get on the floor and get back up for this workshop.
