TECH @ Library: One on One Help Sessions
Event description
Our Tech@ the Library: One on One Help Sessions give you the opportunity to work through your basic technology related questions.
You are welcome to bring your own device. Please bring along a charger and any passwords you may need. There is free Wi-Fi at the library with your library membership.
All sessions include basic tips on computer and internet safety.
Sessions are held on Thursdays at 10am, 11am and 12 noon. Sessions are held for 45 minutes. Bookings are essential.
Please advise us of your questions or issues when placing your booking.
Some ideas on technology related issues we can help with are:
Government apps: for example myGov, mySA GOV, Medicare, vaccination certificates and QR codes.
Email: creating an account, attaching files, sending emails to multiple people, using folders to sort emails and more.
Photos and storage: transferring photos from your phone to a USB, cloud storage of photos, basic photo editing like cropping or adding text, printing photos and more.
Social media: learn about, sign up for or address your questions about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more.
Phones and tablets: basic functions, downloading apps, connecting to the internet, making calls or text messaging, downloading system updates and more.
Tech at the library is provided by Yankalilla Library service.
