Join us for an evening of networking and an interactive panel exploring those questions from two perspectives: consumer advocacy and the data-center industry. What could expansion mean for businesses and households? How should we balance innovation with its demands on our communities?

Hear from Sarah Moskowitz, Executive Director of Citizens Utility Board, and Brad Tietz of the Data Center Coalition, in a conversation moderated by Dr. Alvin Chin, MET Tech Club Chair and University of Illinois Chicago professor.

Presented with ACM Chicago and IEEE Chicago, this edition of our Tech Night series brings professionals together to exchange ideas, ask questions, and make new connections.

Denim without rips or distress is permitted, while hats, t-shirts, flip flops, athletic wear and shoes, shorts, and loungewear are not. The Craftsman dining experience is intended to be more formal, so while enjoying your time here, we ask that male Members and guests in denim and uncollared tops wear a blazer or sports coat.Club and Member events will communicate a specific style etiquette for any events that request a dress code if necessary. For catering and private event functions, the style guide will be determined by the host. It is our goal to create a comfortable environment for our Members and guests while visiting the Club; it is up to our Members to share the style etiquette with their accompanying guests. The Metropolitan is designed for adults, but it is child-friendly.
