𝑷𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆: 𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆
Join us for the launch of Nū’s debut live-coded EP, TECHNIFRO-185. On the evening of Friday, April 25th, the planet first aligns with the Earth’s orbit—its manifestation into the world marked by an intimate ambient ritual at Eastmint. Nū, Blood Lotus, and Sachin de Silva weave sonic blessings from 7:30pm (doors at 6:30pm).
For a three-act lineup, we suggest $25, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $15–$60. CDs and Cassettes available on the night via Highly Contagious.

NŪ
Nū is an Ethiopian-Australian sound artist, vocalist and livecoder. BLOOD LOTUS
Blood Lotus is the music project of Hannah Wu, who fuses club, experimental R&B, avant-garde pop, and traditional Chinese instruments to push the sonic parameters of genre. She constructs spectral worlds where the past and future collide in motion; intimate vocals flutter over shapeshifting beats, scaffolded by oscillating synths and glistening strings. Working closely with producers Kuya Neil and Voidhood, her debut album is slated to be released with CONTENT.NET.AU in 2025

SACHIN DE SILVA
Sachin de Silva is an experimental electronic sound artist who examines the mangled convergence of synthetic and found sound. His practice seeks to exorcise you personally

ACCESSIBILITY
Eastmint is accessible via wheelchair through the non main entrance, there is a small sliding door frame that we can place a ramp over the top of. Please get in touch if you require this option via email eastmintrecords@gmail.com. We regret we are unable to provide accessible toilet facilities at this time, although there is wheelchair access to the hand washing sink which is a private space. Closest accessible toilets located at the Peacock Hotel 150m away. There are no windows that are openable in the space but we will open the double doors between sets for airflow. The space is quite cavernous with high ceilings and is an un-renovated warehouse so not tightly sealed. We use a HEPA filter rated for 50m2 but the space is closer to 100m2. Please contact eastmintrecords@gmail.com if you require any other info.
