Robots and technology have immersed themselves all around us in our day-to-day life, but have you ever wondered what they can really do? With this brand-new collaborative workshop, you will step into the virtual and physical world of design and electronics to imagine and create new products. 

Whether you are looking for basic skills, skills to upgrade your career or a way to apply technology in your everyday life, this workshop is perfect for you. Over the 3 nights you will learn:

  • Arduino hardware and software
  • 3D modelling and design 
  • How to combine these new skills to create an automated product

As well as not only having completed the project, smart bin, you will leave the workshop with knowledge and understand of Arduino sensors and operators as well as 3D design which you can apply this to you everyday life. 

For the first time ever Binary Design and GEAR up robotics will collaboratively be conducting this workshop. The event will run over 3 nights from 6-8pm:

The workshop is open for adults aged 16 years and up with any level of experience (from an expert wishing to refine their skills to someone having never touched and Arduino before!). 

Your ticket includes:

  • 6 hours of workshop lessons
  • An Arduino kit for you to take home to continue using
  • Arduino problem solving sheet 
  • A certificate outlining the skills you learn
