TED Circles: Three secrets of resilient people
Event description
Welcome to TED Circles - a conversation hosted by Circulo.
The format is very simple - watch a TED Talk and have a conversation about the talk with other people over Zoom. Think of it like a book club for TED talks where like-minded people meet to explore topics and consider different perspectives.
This month's theme is "Resilience", and the TED Talk/topic we will be exploring is - The three secrets of resilient people.
To most people in the field, resilience research is a calling, an academic interest or maybe even just a buzzword. For resilient expert Lucy Hone, it turned out to be an essential survival skill. In this powerful and personal talk, she shares the three strategies that got her through an unimaginable tragedy and—in doing so—offers profound insights on how to find meaning in loss.
Please plan to watch the TED Talk (16 minutes) beforehand so that we can maximise our time together.
This session will be held online over Zoom and you will receive the Zoom details after you register for the event.
