Event description

It's back! Our popular Teddy Bear's Picnic will be held on our lovely Eucalyptus Lawn during the April school holidays. Tuesday, 15th April 10am - 2pm.

Be there by 11.00 am to join the Marching Koalas Band on a parade around the Garden paths with your teddy bear or other favourite companion. Have your face painted or enjoy the jumping castle. Take a ride on the Teddy Bear Express.

This year there will be a teddy bear adoption program. Come with one bear, go home with two!

Over 25 market stalls. Music. Fun craft activities. Sausage sizzle. Food van.

Bring a picnic rug and enjoy a great family event.

PLEASE NOTE: the Gardens suffered extensive damage from the storm in January and this has changed a few things. There will be much more 'sky' in the picnic area, bring sunscreen. You are encouraged to bring your own picnic table and chairs as a few of ours were damaged. Our cubby house was demolished by a tree (it will be replaced but maybe not before April). Some of the outer walks will still be closed to the public until made safe.

This event is a fund-raising event towards our storm damage fund (the storm has caused many thousands of dollars' damage). Many thanks to our sponsors John Holland-Gamuda and Kate Washington MP for their contributions. All donations are gratefully appreciated.
