Join your fellow B Corps for a series of #TEDxBCorp Countdown “Let’s Get To Zero!” ACTION Parties
About this Event
TED created COUNTDOWN, as a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the Climate Crisis, turning ideas into action.
B Lab has partnered with COUNTDOWN to create a series of global discussions to explore how, together, we can accelerate, unblock, and multiply your impact on the #RacetoZero.
Join fellow B Corps on Thursday 15 October 2020 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm (AEST - Melbourne time) to explore and discuss topics addressing some of the biggest challenges of our time.
During the ACTION party we will:
- Celebrate what works: what best practices, insights and campaigns can we learn from?
- Inspire collaboration: what are the best ways to collaborate on the road to zero?
- Get unstuck: where do you need help most? Where can you offer help to others?
How it works:
- B Lab will curate the content for the TEDxBCorp Countdown Dialogues.
- A playlist of talks to watch in advance of the dialogues.
- The dialogues will be held by B Corps all over the world. Using technology the ideas and conversations will be transported virtually to other locally held dialogues to continue the discussions.
More about COUNTDOWN: Curated by TED, the goal is to identify the bold solutions that can be activated when people break out of their silos and rise to the challenge. The talks will bring together scientists, activists, entrepreneurs, urban planners, farmers, CEOs, investors, artists, government officials, and others to find the most effective, evidence-based ideas out there.
