Event description
TEDxSydney Speaker Deep Dive - Monty Badami
Ideas to meet the moment.
"Deep work is slow. It means choosing connection over control."
With overwhelming feedback from the TEDxSydney audience about how much Monty Badami's talk resonated with people in the room at this year's flagship event, we're offering an opportunity for dinner, deeper connection and dialogue with Monty about his work and how best we find the power in our humanity at this time, while embracing the mess.
In his insightful talk at TEDxSydney 2025, Monty shared some of what he has learned about how our creativity and diversity supports humanity during difficult times.
Dr Monty Badami is the Founder of Habitus, a social enterprise that uses Anthropology and Emotional Intelligence to unlock the superpower of what it means to be human. An Officer of the Australian Army Reserves, he combines his knowledge of army leadership with evolutionary evidence and cross-cultural research to demonstrate how imperfection is essential to our adaptability and success as a species.
