Teen/Adult Workshop: Painting Without Brushes (Workshop Code: DMPWB)

Event description

Teen & Adult Workshop: Painting Without Brushes

Mark making is an important part of the learning process of painting, drawing and for most disciplines in art. Being able to make marks in a painting without using a brush helps focus your mind on the colour and tone and shape as opposed to the final image.

This class will help you look deeper into the art you are creating giving you options to give your finished works more depth, texture and emotion.

Dean Mcleod is a creative, photographer and artist based in Kemureti (Cambridge) Waikato. He has been teaching photography for over 15 years and has been an artist for over 40 years. Dean is currently completing his degree in Contemporary Art and has a strong interest in passing learned skills onto others.

Workshop is $65 per person (+ booking fee of $2.25) this workshop has been subsidised thanks to funding from Ōtorohanga District Creative Communities Fund
