Teen and Parent/Carer Yoga with Rachael Millsom
Looking to do something fun with your teen, and / or hoping to engage them in a practice that encourages breath and body awareness at a time when their bodies are changing so much? Come along to Teen and Parent yoga at Newlands.
This five-week program will target teens / young people ages 12-14 (year 6 to year 8) please get in touch if you are interested and fall outside of this age bracket.
What to expect:
-Breath, mindfulness and yoga practices with your teen / young person in mind that are beneficial to all ages.
-Skills developed and built on each week
-Fun and opportunities to share and connect with your teen / parent
Rachael has practiced yoga for around 20 years in a variety of styles and her practice has evolved over this time. Rachael also has an established counselling practice that focuses on interpersonal respect, and the value of communication during difficult periods of life transition.
