Event description

In celebration of Earth Day, join us for an exciting and creative Teen Jewellery-Making Workshop at South Eveleigh! This interactive workshop invites participants to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery from materials saved from landfill, in collaboration with Reverse Garbage.

What You'll Make:
Choose from a variety of designs, including wristbands, necklaces, headpieces, badges, brooches, and bangles. The materials you'll use come straight from rescued waste, turning trash into treasure!

What You'll Learn:

  • Innovative, Low-Waste Construction Techniques
  • Creative Problem-Solving
  • Design & Visual Skills
  • You’ll also learn how to make jewellery without using glue or tape, and discover how you can save materials for future creative projects.

This fun and educational activity is a great way to explore the world of upcycling and creative reuse. Our expert educators will be on hand to guide you, with plenty of materials available to fuel your imagination and bring your designs to life.
