Jasper grew up here in Wagga and was deeply influenced by the National Art Glass Collection at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery. In 2024 Jasper embarked on a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the Australian National University in Canberra where he has gravitated towards the glass program. In addition to his studies, Jasper is currently working at Glassworks in Canberra. Jasper will speak about his first year studying art and how he has adjusted to life in Canberra, life on campus and the pull of glass. He’ll talk about the artists in our collection who have most influenced him and bring some examples of his own work.
