    Event description

Interpreting sensitive and traumatic stories is a challenge involving a lot of care, diligence, and building of relationships. Join INNZ for our 2nd webinar of the year featuring Rowan Carroll, Director of the New Zealand Police Museum, an institution which takes great care in telling some of the more traumatic stories from Aotearoa's past. Explore the case study of Operation Overdue, the police response involving the recovery and Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) of the Erebus Disaster.

At the 40th anniversary of this disaster in 2019, the New Zealand Police Museum opened Operation Overdue: The New Zealand Police Story. Find out how an exhibition was brought together on the worst civil disaster in Aotearoa's history.
