The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) and Telstra will be holding a FREE online grantseeker workshop for remote, rural and regional community groups across Australia who are interested in applying for the Telstra Connected Communities Grant Program.
The workshop will present details of the Program and an opportunity to discuss projects that meet the criteria for enhancing community resilience, sustainability and liveability with a particular focus on building digital capabity to support communities embracing new technologies and new ways. You will receive practical grant writing tips to help you confidently apply for this opportunity and an opportunity to ask any questions that you have to build your knowledge and skills.
Targeted to support not-for-profit community groups and organisations across remote, rural and region Australia, the Telstra Connected Communities Grant Program offers grants of up to $10,000. The Program will support community led efforts to improve resilience, sustainability and digital literacy for better community disaster preparedness, environmental practice and social connection. This can be with new or existing projects, where funds will help to scale their impact, and may include initiatives that can build capability by providing access to equipment, information and education and/or enable constructive social networks.
