    Event description

International Women's Day sees a number of MISSIONS to help forge a gender equal world.

Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

While innovation has the power to transform lives, we know that there are still many barriers to equality. Access to inclusive digital technologies and education is critical. We must innovate to close the digital divide that keeps so many women offline and away from new opportunities.

Together we can forge women's equality and drive fair and funded access to technology and digitisation. Collectively we can all #EmbraceEquity and #CrackingtheCode - IWD2023's themes.

#CrackingtheCode highlights the role that bold, transformative ideas, inclusive technologies, and accessible education can play in combatting discrimination and the marginalisation of women globally.

Celebrate women's achievements. Raise awareness against bias. Take action for equality.
