Hazards
While Sat Manav Yoga Ashram is a place of peace and healing, it is also a living, rural environment with natural elements to be mindful of. Please take note of the following: Uneven terrain: Many of our trails, driveways, and paths are unpaved and may be rocky, muddy, or steep in sections. Walk with awareness, especially in wet or low-light conditions. Wildlife: The Ashram is home to many animals and insects. Ticks, mosquitoes, and occasional bees are present during warmer months. We recommend using natural bug repellant and checking for ticks after outdoor activities. Low light at night: Outdoor lighting is minimal to preserve natural rhythm. Bring a flashlight or headlamp to safely navigate after dark. Wood-fired sauna and Dhuni fires: These are sacred but active fire elements. Children must be supervised, and guests are expected to use caution around any open flame. Slippery surfaces: mossy outdoor rocks can be slickâmove mindfully. Please respect the land, move with intention, and let a resident know immediately if anything seems unsafe. Your care supports everyoneâs safety and the sanctity of this place.
