Tending the Flame - A Day Retreat

10th August | The Shala, Margaret River

Skaya and Tye invite you to rekindle your inner fire - physically, emotionally, and energetically.

We’ll begin with a heart-opening dive into non-dual Tantrik philosophy, followed by Shake the Dust - a dynamic somatic practice blending dance, TRE, and body-based movement to help you release tension and reconnect with your vitality.

After morning tea, you’ll be guided through the wisdom of Agni in Ayurveda - the digestive fire that governs how we transform experiences, food, and emotions. Discover practical tools to tend to this inner flame and feel more aligned in daily life.

We’ll close with a nourishing Slow Flow into Yin - integrating everything the day stirred and soothed.

Shake the Dust is a transformative and embodied movement practice that weaves together the threads of somatic dance, physical fitness, TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises), and body weight training. In this dynamic class, participants embark on a journey to connect their body, heart, and mind, harmonizing their inner rhythms with the natural flows of nature and the nervous system.

This unique experience encourages self-expression and authentic movement, allowing individuals to shake off old patterns, release emotional blockages, and awaken the body’s innate wisdom. Through guided movements, breathwork, and rhythmic exploration, participants cultivate a deeper awareness of their physicality while tapping into the profound connection between their emotions and physical sensations.

Shake the Dust helps you rediscover your body’s natural rhythm, embrace the joy of movement, surrender old holding patterns, and experience a renewed sense of vitality and alignment.
