(Term 1) 8-week Beginner Wheel 2.0 with Potterbee 6:30PM

Join local ceramicist Rebecca Young @Potterbee for a beginner’s 2.0 wheel throwing class. 

If you have already attended a beginner's class, this one is for you! Expand your skills and take your throwing to the next level with this beginners 2.0 class. 

What You’ll Learn:

• How to prepare and centre larger amounts of clay on an electric pottery wheel (2kg +)
• Throw taller and wider, or focus on perfecting your mug throwing technique.
• Decorate your creations using sgraffitto and glaze your pieces with a dipping technique.

When & Where:

• Day: Tuesday
• Date: 11th Feb – 1st April 2025
• Time: 06:30 PM – 8:30 PM each week
• Location: Nelson Community Potters, 136 Rutherford Street

What to Bring:

• A towel and an apron.
• A creative spirit and willingness to get a little bit dirty!
• 2kg of clay is included in the ticket price, after that clay can be purchased for $5 per kg from your tutor.
