TERM 1 Program - Students will be working on building their drama and acting skills through improvisation and drama activities. We will be focusing on developing characters in preparation for a performance in Term 2.
Building Actors Bunbury offers students the opportunity to learn acting skills through improvisation, script work, verbal and non-verbal communication, public speaking, mime, monologues and duologues, characterisation and play building. Students are encouraged to explore their creative sides during the lessons in a safe environment with a qualified drama specialist teacher.
Each week students will participate in a range of drama activities which assist in building their confidence and drama skills at the same time.
Hollie (the teacher) is a highly qualified Drama specialist, who has been working with children in Bunbury since 2006. Prior to that, she obtained all her experience, qualifications and skills from Perth at WAAPA and ECU. Hollie has worked on mini tv series and video clips and has also worked at Barking Gecko Theatre Co and Frog Management Acting Agency. Since having her own children (ages 4, 8, 10 and 12) she has found a new passion for educating younger children.
