(Term 2) 8-week Intermediate Wheel throwing with Potterbee

Join local ceramicist Rebecca Young Potterbee for an intermediate wheel-throwing class.
Have you joined Bee for a class previously, or do you have some experience on the wheel and are looking to improve your skills? This class is for you!
Students should be able to confidently center and throw 2kg on the wheel to join this class.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to prepare and centre larger amounts of clay on the pottery wheel
• How to take your skills to the next level, make new shapes, throw larger and more uniform forms.

When & Where:

• Day: Thursday
• Date: 1 May - 26th June **NOTE** There will be no class on 19th June to allow drying time before glazing
• Time: 06:00 PM – 8:00 PM each week
• Location: Nelson Community Potters, 136 Rutherford Street

What to Bring:

• A towel and an apron.
• A creative spirit and willingness to get a little bit dirty!
• 4kg of clay is included in the ticket price, after that clay can be purchased for $5 per kg from your tutor.
