Join the Education Equity Alliance's School Network for an interactive workshop considering 'how do we prioritise our activites for improved education equity?'.

This workshop is for Principal-Class and Middle Leaders in Victorian low-SES schools (ICSEA below 1000).

We know that the work of achieving equity of outcomes for the young people in these contexts is significant - and that you are constantly making important decisions about where to place limited time, energy and resources.

This workshop will utilise leverage point analysis to help you determine where you can apply your efforts for the biggest impact This workshop will draw upon the systems thinking framework, which supports improvement in complex systems. In particular, it will utilise a leverage point analysis tool developed by Orange Compass, which provides a stepped out process through which you can decide where you focus your energy for maximum impact. Workshop a set of the most critical leverage points for improved equity in low-SES school communities
Plan for implementing & actioning of these leverage points at both the school and system level

Facilitation Team:

Tim Warwick is the Founder of the Education Equity Alliance, a not-for-profit focused on partnering students and teachers on system-change for education equity . Previously he was Principal of a low-SES primary school and a consultant for the Department of Education.

Kerrie Dowsley is the previous Principal of St Albans Secondary College in Melbourne's West, where she led for 17 years to outstanding results.

Megan Corcoran is a previous teacher and school leader. She currently leads the Wagtail Institute.

Eve Millar Evaluation and Strategy Lead of Orange Compass, a consultancy focused on improvement in complex settings and systems. She has previously led reform initiatives across a range of systems, including early childhood and education.
