A Montessori Parent and Child Program is a unique program for families to attend alongside their child. It provides a wonderful opportunity for you, as parents and carers of 0-3 year olds, to have a hands-on experience of the Montessori philosophy in action. Dr Maria Montessori believed that education begins at the moment of birth.
Operated from a purpose-built environment designed specifically for children aged 0 to 3, this program runs during term time and is led by our highly experienced Montessori educator and Director of the MITC.
The carefully and thoughtfully prepared environment supports your child’s natural development, encouraging freedom to touch, manipulate, move, communicate and explore using all their senses.

PARENT & TODDLER PROGRAM
Walking to three years - 2 hour session
Now your child is walking stably, their hands are free to explore the prepared environment which will aid the development of functional independence. Carefully prepared practical life activities allow the child to construct themselves while refining movement, developing language, empowering them to become capable individuals.
