Term 4, Thursday Buddhist Teachings: Practical Buddhism in a Nutshell
Description
Join Lama Choedak Rinpoche each Thursday evening from 15 October to 3 December 2026, 6:00–7:30pm, for "Practical Buddhism in a Nutshell" — a weekly teaching series exploring how Buddhist principles apply directly to everyday life.
This series draws on themes Rinpoche has taught for many years, covering the foundational Buddhist view, right speech and action, right livelihood, right effort, meditation and integrating practice into daily life, an overview of Buddhist schools and methods, and the cultivation of wisdom and compassion.
All are welcome, whether you're new to Buddhism or a long-time student.
Course admission: This course is offered for free. However, we rely on generous benefactors, like yourself, to ensure that we can continue to offer these precious teachings to all.
If you would like to make a contribution towards the course, please do so on the registration page. You can also support this term's series as a Benefactor (approx. $1,080 for the full term), or sponsor the whole year of Thursday night teachings, which is $5,800. Any amount, either partially or whole, will be greatly appreciated.
