TESEP Professional Development Workshops - Barker College, Hornsby

Barker College is hosting TESEP Professional Development Workshops on Thursday 25 September 2025 from 11.00am to 12.30pm on Riding the Climate Roller Coaster.

Riding the Climate Rollercoaster

This PD looks back over the last 4.6 billion years to find the drivers of climate change throughout geological time and discusses the impact climate fluctuations have had in the past as revealed by the rock record. This PD also examines the additional impact human activity is thought to have and the geological evidence for it and provides guidance on how teachers and students can access raw data to evaluate the results for themselves. Relevant to the new NSW 2026 Syllabus.

Cost:

attendee from Host School – $50 plus GST and booking fees.
