This is an informal Drop & Swap Session. Curious to know how it works? It's simple and no prior registrations are required to attend this event! - Drop
off your pre-loved clothes (please only bring up to a maximum of 10 items per attendee. For a full list of what is and is not accepted see below)
- Browse through the selection of pre-loved clothing, try-on items and choose a few that are just right for you
- See the friendly EMRC staff to weigh your selected items out before taking them home with you for free.

You will also have the opportunity to pick the brains of our knowledgeable Waste Education team to learn about what does and doesn't belong in your FOGO bin (food organics, garden organics) at our FOGO information stall. If you've ever felt confused about how to sort your waste correctly, or what to do with tricky household waste items- you are not alone! This will be the perfect opportunity to have your questions answered.
There will be family-friendly, hands-on waste education games to try for your chance to win some sustainable prizes.

Clothing items accepted: Check your wardrobe for any of the following items you no longer wear. Items must be clean and dry, free of pet hair and pilling prior to donation. All donated clothing will undergo a quality check, including cleanliness before being accepted and placed on the rack. - Adult clothing items, for any gender
- Accessories - hats, scarves, jewellery (no piercings please), handbags
- Shoes
Items not accepted: Any dirty, sweat-stained or damp clothing will not be accepted, along with any of the following items. - Underwear, socks and hosiery
- Children's clothing
- Piercings
- Linen, bedding or soft furnishings
- Toys or bric-a-brac
