Entry instructions
All attendees must check in with a BOFFO staff member or volunteer in order to receive their wristband and entry to either venue for the Festival. 2 PM - 8 PM, The Beach at Fishermen's Path—please visit the check-in table near the Fishermen's Path boardwalk ramp on the beach side. 11 PM - 6 AM, Reflections, 73 Bay Walk at Teal Walk—please enter the venue using the pathway to the left of the house and check in with a BOFFO staff member or volunteer at the check-in table near the pool.
Hazards
Uneven surfaces (sand, boardwalks); steep incline and decline; excessive sun and heat with minimal shade; mosquitos and other insects
Toilet location
Toilets are located along Fire Island Boulevard near Fishermen's Path and at the Pavilion (36 Fire Island Blvd) in the main harbor. The ramp to the restrooms in the Pavilion is located on Fire Island Blvd near Pines Pizza.
Accessible parking
Fire Island is a car-less island. There is no parking on the island. Day rate parking is available across from the Sayville ferries at 50 River Road. Parking is also available at
What to exepct
Fire Island Pines is a car-less island community with limited options for ground travel. If you have specific accessibility questions or requests, please email Candystore candystore@boffo.art If you need help getting around, please enlist the local Mobility Cart by calling 631-597-3797 or making a travel request at: https://www.formstack.com/forms/?1764791-E1PRYrRmYU. Operating hours are from 7am to 6pm, reservations are free, and should be made 24 hours in advance of pickup time. The Beach at Fishermen's Path is 0.7 miles from the main harbor or a 14-minute walk that involves steep inclines and declines on wooden boardwalk. Fishermen's Path is a beach boardwalk without stairs and has a ramp with railing on both sides down to the beach. Reflections (73 Bay Walk) is 0.2 miles from the main harbor or a 4-minute walk that is more or less flat. The house at Reflections does contain 2-step stairs to enter the main house, however, the event will be held mostly outside and in the pool. Reflections (73 Bay Walk) is
