Sat, 3 May, 10am - 11:30am AEST

Event description

A monthly series of talks, featuring the gardeners, designers and horticulturalists behind the Test Garden and Laak Boorndap. On the first Saturday of the month, join us in the garden for an informal session on plants in season, how to create a flourishing garden in dry summer conditions, and the importance of biodiversity in urban spaces.

For our May open day, hear from our newly appointed Laak Boorndap gardener Russell Larke about what’s happening in the Test Garden and learn about some of your favourite plants and how you can care for them at home.

After meeting the gardener you're invited to stick around for our free drop-in workshops, presented in collaboration with KHT. Led by First Peoples creatives, these hands-on sessions will use seeds, flowers and plants found in the Test Garden to create art and help you grow your own plants at home. You can register for these workshops via this event page: Seed ball and botanical printing workshop with KHT
