Test Garden Open Day - Birds in the Big City

Join Urban Ecologist Dr Jacinta Humphrey to explore design for birds in this family-friendly workshop.

Participants will learn about local bird species, the types of habitats and resources that birds need to live in cities and explore design ideas to better support native birds. Get inspired and learn about how we can incorporate food, water, habitat and nesting resources into urban design! Peckable Architecture will be installed in the Test Garden during this workshop.

• This open day we are offering spots for 4 smaller groups – each session is 20 minutes in length.

• This event is held outdoors in the Test Garden at Fed Square. Please bring a hat and water bottle.

• All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
