Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and partners are hosting a free, practical field day for farmers and landholders interested in making their dams more resilient in a changing climate.
Join us at the Enhancing Farm Dams Field Day to learn how farm dam enhancement can improve water quality, water security and biodiversity. We will explore:
the latest research on how to enhance your farm dam
practical steps for turning farm dams into valuable habitat
demonstrations of dam monitoring techniques
hands-on waterbug and wetland plant identification, and how these indicators can be used to assess water quality
practical tips on fencing, site preparation and revegetation

The day will begin at the Moriac Community Centre, followed by visit to a local farm. Lunch is included. Please dress appropriately for field conditions.
