Texas Youth Music Festival October 12, 1-4pm
Come join the fun on Saturday afternoon as talented high school and middle schoolers participate in the Texas Youth Music Festival! You'll hear vibrant, toe-tapping music from statewide garage bands and solo artists. The artists will be competing to win the grand prize of a coveted Orb Recording session to record their own EP. Additional prizes will be awarded to second and third place winners. The event is sponsored by the Austin School for the Performing Arts, the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and the Musician's Woodshed.
Saturday's competition will feature 7 minute or less performances from each entry followed immediately by feedback from industry professional judges. The evening will culminate in an extended performance by the winner.
