Event description

Boorndawan Willam Aboriginal Healing Service will lead the March Community of practice for Together For Equality and Respect partners. They will introduce us to their work as the Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation and specialist family violence service for Melbourne's east. This session will build understanding about prevention in practice as it is integrated across all areas of work and healing and is informed by the importance of self- determination, connection to Culture, Country and Community and recognising the continuing impacts of colonisation including intergenerational trauma and systemic discrimination.
