TFER CoP: Engaging boys and young men as partners in prevention

This Together For Equality and Respect (TFER) Community of Practice (CoP) will explore how we are engaging boys and young men as partners in advancing gender equality and preventing violence against women.
We'll reflect on what is happening in school settings, as well as in community settings through innovative sports programs.
We will hear from:
- Aimy Skym (she/her), Respectful Relationships, Inner East, Department of Education will share about what's happening in respectful relationships education in schools in the inner east.
- Dee Angelina Micevski (She/Her), Gender & Sport Lead from Women’s Health Grampians will share about Act@Play, a six-month cultural change program to promote gender equality designed specifically for sporting clubs which uses movement-based bystander training.
- Becky Nevin (She/Her), Prevention Coordinator Sports, The Men’s Project will share about the Active Respect project for school-age boys, run in partnership with Football Victoria and The Y.
This will be a participatory session with time for questions and discussion.
