Description
Tabletop Game Designers Australian is proud to welcome you to DEVCON for 2026!
The proceedings include the main hall featuring playtesting and a talks room with informative presentations, Q&As and panels by industry members on a range of topics. It also features the annual TDGA yearly roundup and our awards ceremony. You can find some previous years presentations here: https://tgda.org.au/devcon/. This year the event will be catered (included in the ticket price) and has a bar with beverages for purchase. We will also have an informal meet up from 12:30pm to 4pm (further details to come)

Making Educational games - An educator’s perspective
Speakers: Melissa Rogerson - Senior Lecturer in HCI in the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne. Tim Westman - Program Coordinator of Game design at Collarts Violeta Gordana - Game Design Lecturer at Collarts Education and games can go hand in hand, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. This panel will explore how games educate, but also how you can design games to make them suitable for educational settings and objectives.

Intersection between Board games and RPGs
