Description

TGDI 40+ is a monthly event for transgender, gender diverse, and intersex people aged 40 and above. These events offer a place to meet new people and stay connected to the community, while accessing peer support from AGA.

Each month we will host a TGDI 40+ event on either a Thursday from 6-8pm at AGA House, or on a Saturday from 10am-12pm at various cafes across Canberra.

Our Thursday evening meet-ups will be a casual hang out space, with some occasional activities or workshops. Light refreshments and tea/coffee will be offered.

Accessibility: AGA House is equipped with an accessible parking space, ramp entrance and an accessible bathroom. If you want to attend but are unsure if this event is accessible to you, please contact us at the contact details below.

A Gender Agenda (AGA) works to support and adovcate for the intersex, trans and gender diverse community. We acknowledge the important role that partners, family members and allies play and these people are all also welcomed as part of our community.

AGA is a unique community organisation actively engaged in increasing public awareness and understanding of intersex, trans and gender diversity issues. In addition to training and education, we provide advocacy and support services, information and resources and are actively engaged in human rights and law reform. We also host a regular calendar of community events, which aims to provide social and wellbeing support to our members.
