Exhibition Description:

Thalassic Pietà is a deeply personal and poetic meditation on the sea—its grace, its wounds, and our place within its vast memory. Emerging from a place of both reverence and sorrow, the works in this exhibition reflect a longing to connect with what is ancient, vulnerable, and enduring. The paintings trace an emotional arc from loss toward a glimmer of hope, shaped by a love for the natural world and a grief for what has been taken from it. Created in moments of stillness and early morning light, each surreal or magical realism piece is a quiet yet often child like offering, an attempt to listen with innocence, more closely, to feel more deeply, and to see what still speaks beneath the surface.
