Event description

Do you have some feelings you need to get out on paper?

Challenging experiences with Mental Health and Wellbeing can often be a complex experience to process and communicate. But bottling it up inside wont do you any good.

This Mental Health March, your UNSW student publications are teaming up with the Health Promotions Unit to deliver a Creative Writing workshop and Competition!

Creative writing can be one of the best ways to process your experiences, remove stigma and create a discussion around mental health and wellbeing and sharing your writing with others is often a great jumping off point.

UNSW Health Promotions, Tharunka, UNSWeetened and Framework will be hosing a writing workshop where you can share your writing with others and also have the support of our Psycology & Wellness team to deal with some of those challenging topics.

If you choose to submit your writing into the competition you'll also have the chance to submit your piece and get it published in an exclusive onlile edition for Mental Health March and see your writing in print with all three publications!

If you have a pitch, or an idea, or just want to share your thoughts, come along to our event. We’ll have music and free food so you can get your creative juices flowing.
