'Life in the Old Dog' in association with 90's House Music Lovers Down Under are back with their Winter event, after the huge success of Balearic Beats at Torquay Surf Life Savers Club.

We are taking over There There Cocktail Bar & Club Captain, which sits bang in the middle of Geelong.

We will have DJ's spinning vinyl inside and the party will also take place in the heated covered outdoor venue at Club Captain, so you really will get the best of both worlds.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Some of our 'Life in the Old Dog' favorites will be back spinning their choice of anthems and will be supported by two new 'vinyl only' DJ's, who will totally fit with the vibe of There There, which has a 70's retro feel.

MATT KAVANAGH - KENT UK  

For anyone at Balearic Beats at Torquay Surf Lifesavers Club, you will remember that Matt absolutely rocked his set in the beer garden, as evidenced in a lot of the footage from the event. He brings significant DJ experience & knowledge of all things house. Matt presents his own House show on 'Kiss FM Australia & he also produces his own tracks on LTBH Records, so expect a couple to drop in his set!

HOOLY - GLASGOW UK

Formerly a backing dancer with the dance group Yosh and played at some of the UK's biggest clubs back in the 90's, like Cream in Liverpool.  Created  the 90's House Music Lovers Down Under Page/Group and is responsible for a large portion of the tunage that is uploaded.  His sets are eclectic and loves nothing more than a remix of an old classic! 

CLIVE BROOKES - LONDON UK 

Another one who witnessed the Summer of Love as it happened and has been on his musical journey ever since.  Clive has become a firm favorite with the 'Life in the Old Dog' faithful. Clive always brings the happy vibe with his uplifting house numbers but expect some remixes of some old school classics to be thrown in to his set,

JASON S - CHRISTCHURCH NZ/MELBOURNE

It wouldn't be a 'life in the Old Dog House Party' without a token Kiwi/Islander to break up the plethora of Poms! Another DJ with vast experience going back to the 90's scene in Melbourne and playing at the likes of Freakazoid, Dome & Monkey.  Jason has vast musical experience and a love of the 80's might mean that the odd obscure remix of some mainstream might find the way into his set along with some old school classics! 

RICH-E-D - SOUTH EAST LONDON UK

First time on board with 'Life in the Old Dog' and Rich will bring the energy akin to a Energizer Bunny. Rich has vast experience DJ'ing in the 90's scene in London and his love of vinyl has brought him back to playing out again. You can expect beefy bass lines and high energy in his sets.

NAPIER FLOWERS - BERKSHIRE UK

Another vinyl debutant and yet another from the British 90's scene. Napier, although living down South, played mostly around the Manchester & Midlands music scenes. He also has a vast eclectic taste in dance music, so you will be in for a treat while you sample the low priced drinks in the bar in There There.
