Step through the gates of a retro-futuristic Exposition into The 13th Hour, Otherworld Theater’s immersive 2026 Celestial Gala celebrating 12 years of science fiction and fantasy storytelling. The evening opens with a World’s Fair Midway filled with carnival games, cotton candy, specialty cocktails, and lost technologies, before escalating into the main event: a historic temporal fracturing where Michelle’s Ballroom freezes in a localized pocket of time. Guests can step into the shoes of Chrononavigators to interrogate characters and decode secret lore, or simply sit back, enjoy an open bar and a themed multi-course dinner, and watch the high-concept story unfold around them like a live-action film. Above all, every ticket purchased and auction bid raised serves as the vital energy needed to stabilize the rift, directly funding Chicago’s premier storefront theater for the upcoming season.

On the historic occasion of our Twelfth Season, Otherworld Theatre has engineered a gateway - a Temporal Rift - manifesting directly onto the grand stage of Michelle's Ballroom.

On November 7th, 2026, the cosmic clock will strike The 13th Hour — an impossible, unscripted pocket of frozen time, where our Past, Present, and Future are colliding simultaneously in a single breathless spectacle. This anomaly is volatile. A theater cannot exist without its audience.

We require your immediate presence to stabilize the production. Without your vital energy and patronage, the stage goes dark and the timeline collapses. With it, we fund and secure the next grand act of science fiction and fantasy storytelling for generations to come.

On November 7th, Michelle’s Ballroom transforms into a Temporal Rift—an impossible pocket of frozen time where Otherworld’s Past, Present, and Future collide. Your table will be seated directly alongside Otherworld artists and agents of the Consortium of Chrononavigators. How you experience the night is entirely up to you:

• The Active Investigator: If you love to play, you can step into the shoes of a Chrononavigator. Interrogate the characters, hunt for temporal artifacts, decode clues hidden in the ballroom, and uncover the secret lore of the evening.

• The Casual Voyager: If you prefer to relax, you can simply sit back, enjoy a fantastic multi-course meal, and watch the high-concept sci-fi story unfold around you like a spectacular, live-action movie. No acting or mandatory interaction required!
