The 17th Annual Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding Hui

This year, the theme for World Breastfeeding Week is 'Prioritise Breastfeeding, Create sustainable support systems'. 

Please join us for a day of education, networking, and general cup-filling as we reflect on the current breastfeeding and infant feeding climate, brainstorm ideas, and collaborate on the protection and promotion of breastfeeding/chestfeeding. 

The Annual Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding Hui is a fully catered event and is open to all community members, with a special focus on professionals working with hapū whānau, or whānau who are infant feeding.

Certificates will be provided for continuing professional education for Midwives.

Please note, the online tickets are ADDITIONAL to the in-person hui. There is not an option to join the main full day event online. The additional speaker content is pre-recorded by pioneers leading the way in Aotearoa infant feeding guidance and research. These pre-recorded speaker sessions are NOT the speakers we are welcoming to the in-person event. This online content will be emailed to registered participants on 1 August 2025 and will be available for two weeks.
