Event description

White Box Enterprises will release its second independent report demonstrating the effectiveness of social enterprise in comparison to Disability Employment Services.

The report, undertaken by actuarial and analytics firm Taylor Fry presents a compelling case for the federal government to consider more deeply the role social enterprise can play alongside Disability Employment Services (DES) and Workforce Australia in the national employment services system.

To unpack the report findings and discuss what this could mean for social enterprise moving forward, White Box will host a panel of social enterprise leaders, including:

  • Ben Gales, Paul Ramsay Foundation
  • Jess Moore, Social Enterprise Australia
  • Geoff Smith, Australian Spatial Analytics

Mark Daniels, COO White Box Enterprises and Project Lead of the Payment By Outcomes (PBO) Trial for social enterprise, will host and also contribute to the panel.

Data captured from 17 social enterprises through the PBO Trial has informed the Taylor Fry Report, along with publicly available data on DES. The full report will be available on the White Box website from Thursday 12 September.

We hope you can join us.
