Description

Women don't experience work the same way men do. It's not because of a lack of ambition or capability, but because our bodies have experiences that men's don't. The kicker is that most workplaces were never designed with these experiences in mind.

In this 90-minute panel conversation, we'll explore how menstruation, maternity, and menopause shape women's careers - from early leadership right through to the senior levels. We'll look at what happens when those experiences are ignored, and what workplaces can do differently in supporting their pipeline of women into leadership as well as the women who reach those roles.

You'll leave this session with:

  • A clearer understanding of how the 3 M's show up across a woman's leadership journey.

  • Honest insight into the costs - for women and workplaces - when these experiences are ignored.

  • Practical actions you can take to create more supportive conditions.

  • The language and confidence to have these conversations without getting it wrong.

This webinar is for you if:

  • You're a man who wants to be a more informed, supportive colleague and leader and wants to walk away with real things to say and do (not just good intentions).

  • You work in People & Culture and want to understand how your workplace policies and culture is (or isn't) - serving women across different life stages.

This is a real conversation with people who know this territory deeply and are happy to get into the details.

Meet the panel:

Robyn McLean, CEO of Hello Period and speaking to Menstruation

Robyn is the co-founder and CEO of Hello Period, an award-winning sustainable period care company. After becoming frustrated with the lack of innovation and quality in the period industry, Robyn, a former journalist, took matters into her own hands.

She founded Hello Period with her best friend and nurse, Mary Bond in 2017. Hello Period originally started as a menstrual cup brand but then expanded and today they are the only sustainable period care company in the world offering a full range of reusable period products including menstrual discs, period underwear, pads, panty liners and swimwear. Each product lasts years not hours. Hello Period has diverted more than 700 million single-use period products from landfills around the world and is on track to meet their goal of 1 billion by 2030
