Event description
Since 1980, the LRTAWA Annual Conference has brought together the rural transport community for a weekend of connection, conversation, and collaboration. Now in its 45th year, the tradition continues, a place where knowledge is shared, voices are heard, and partnerships are forged.
The 2025 conference promises a dynamic mix of expert speakers, interactive sponsor displays, and timely discussions on the issues shaping rural and regional transport. From regulatory changes to practical innovations, attendees will gain valuable insights — whether you're running a fleet, working on the tools, or influencing policy.
More than just a conference, it’s a chance to come together as a community — to swap stories, share information, and find support amongst the camaraderie from those facing the same challenges.
Of course, it’s not all business. The ever-popular Friday night sundowner sets the tone for a relaxed and welcoming weekend, while Saturday night’s gala dinner and auction bring the energy (and a bit of friendly bidding rivalry). With plenty of time to catch up with mates and make new connections, it’s the perfect way to recharge and celebrate the people who keep this industry moving.
Accommodation Reminder
A limited number of rooms have been held at The Vines Resort for conference attendees. These rooms will be released to the general public one month prior to the event, so we recommend booking early to secure your stay.
If you’re booking accommodation at The Vines Resort, please mention that you are attending the LRTAWA Conference when making your reservation.
