Event description

Twelve plays. Thirteen student directors. Twenty-five actors. Three nights.

During Session 3 at Narrabundah College, the Year 12 Drama students have the opportunity to direct a short play of their choice. They are responsible for selecting the play (or, in some instances, writing their own), casting it from the Year 11 actors, and rehearsing over a period of 5 weeks, taking full responsibility for costumes, lighting, set, and props. These performances are the culmination of their work in Drama across the two years at college.

This year, plays include well-loved comedies such as The Importance of Being Earnest, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and The Accidental Death of an Anarchist; thought-provoking dramas such as Wolf Lullaby and Corrugated; and exciting new plays written by the Year 12 students themselves, including Int. Theatre, What Kind of Monster, The Gift of Success, and School sucks, everyone sucks. Packed with laughs, triumphs, and a little bit of murder, please join us in supporting these talented young actors and directors.
