The Adaptation Game @ Play With Purpose (ALIA Program) Melbourne Afternoon Session - Citizen COP 2026
Description
Play With Purpose Day: Exploring Melbourne’s Climate Future
Come to Play With Purpose Day at narrm ngarrgu Library and discover how games can help us explore big challenges and imagine better futures.
As part of the day, join The Adaptation Game (TAG) to explore possible futures for Melbourne and how communities can navigate climate shocks together. Discover how events such as extreme heat, storms and floods could affect the city, and explore practical and collective ways to prepare, adapt and respond.
You’ll leave with new ideas, connections and inspiration for navigating a changing climate.

About Citizen COP Australia
Citizen COP Australia is a decentralised, people-powered movement running alongside the global COPs in 2026. Enabled by People For Nature, but intentionally independent and distributed, Citizen COP invites communities, organisations, schools, businesses, artists, and local groups across Australia to host their own events during the COP period. Rather than a single central event, Citizen COP is a nationwide network of conversations, workshops, and actions that bring global climate and nature discussions into local communities. It connects people to science, solutions, and each other, strengthening civic engagement and ensuring citizen voices contribute to Australia’s climate and nature conversations.
