The Age of Synthesis - How the Science of Spirituality and Wellbeing are Merging

Join us for the inaugural event organised and hosted by Grounding the Spirit. Enjoy an inspiring evening presentation by Dr. Thomas Nielsen.

We live in an exciting time of synthesis happening on many levels. In this talk, Dr. Nielsen will connect the dots between some of the most recent scientific findings and ancient spiritual teachings. The picture emerging is one of immense hope for the future of the earth and its population.

Dr. Nielsen is a student of several spiritual traditions, including Anthroposophy and Theosophy. He did his PhD on aspects of Rudolf Steiner education and is an Associate Professor at the University of Canberra, where he teaches positive psychology and wellbeing education.

Grounding the Spirit is a new initiative to nurture spiritual community and connection in Canberra, inspired by the spiritual philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. Including also an exploration of other spiritual paths, this initiative seeks to create space for dialogue, spiritual growth, and collaborative enquiry beyond materialism.
