'Theatrical Saboteurs’ Doppelgangster (UK/Australia) bring their latest, miraculous work about living in dark times, violence, and disorder.

A duel is about to take place. Welcome, traveller, to the very fictional, medieval town of Cross Roads.
You are not yourself anymore and be warned this shelter cannot last.

Two rough grandstands face each other as the KXT-on-Broadway Theatre is transformed into a brutal and deadly jousting arena. An arrow whizzes through the theatre. Actors are climbing a siege tower, attempting necromancy, crashing through castle walls. The past is upon you.

Death is certain. Loot everything.

Galloping in on hobby horses and centaurs The Anarchy (1138-53) follows the dangerous path of past works: Doppelgangster’s TITANIC, Cold War, and Puntila/Matti - which have generated walkouts, physical fights, and cancellations, along with cult followings and critical acclaim. It’s part shocking anticomedy, part historical folk-horror, part pagan ritual, and part psychedelic experiment.
